How do I get a file to upload?

Open DeckSide on Windows (v1.8.26 or newer for encrypted exports; v1.8.10+ for plain).
Open the Lineup tab → pick your meet → load the lineup builder.
Click Export for web in the toolbar (next to Export for sharing).
Save the .deckside.json file anywhere on your device. The desktop app will also show a one-time password — copy it (or keep that window open).
Drop the file here, or click to pick it. You'll be prompted for the password on the next screen.

Build a lineup manually no file needed

Paste your roster as CSV — one swimmer per line, columns: Last, First, Age, Gender. Gender accepts F/M, Female/Male, or Girls/Boys.
